White County residents are needed to work for the U.S. Census Bureau.
The U.S. Census Bureau is recruiting temporary, part-time census takers for the 2010 Census. These short-term jobs offer good pay, flexible hours, paid training, and reimbursement for authorized work expenses, such as mileage incurred while conducting census work.

To apply, residents must take an employment test. Applicants do not need to call or register to take the test. They should bring two forms of ID to the testing location (driver's license and social security card are preferred). Applicants may call the recruiting hotline for more information: 1.866.861.2010. If you have any questions please contact my office 618-307-3730. Please see the testing schedule for test times in your area.
